Bishops Castle Room
This suite sleeps up to 2 adults.
Measuring 6m by 3.2m (20′ by 10’6″) this room has a double aspect, looking out over countryside towards Leaton village and also over the conservatory at the end of the property. You can also see the 14 bird feeders from this window and the numerous garden birds. This room is also furnished with 1880 Breton solid oak furniture. There is a King sized double bed with a crest and foxes carved on the headboard and a scene of people in clogs dancing to music played by a man holding bagpipes carved into the footboard. The bedside cabinets oak are similarly carved but it is the wardrobe which is the most impressive item of furniture in the room. This is huge and also made from solid oak and matches the previously described furniture. To complete the room there is a sofa with a coffee table, a 17th century oak side table on which the 32″ flat screen tv stands and an oak chest of drawers with your hospitality tray of tea/coffee making facilities. There are three thermostatically controlled radiators in this room. There is also space for a travelling cot.
The shower room comprises a highly decorated Victorian style toilet and sink, a step-in power shower, a shaving socket (240/115v) with light, a highly decorated hand painted mirror and a radiator.
